Eskimo languages have generally been characterized as SOV (Subject-Object-Verb) languages, with this configuration representing a “clearly dominant pragmatically neutral ordering pattern” . The goal of this article will be to evaluate the relative stability or flexibility of this pattern in Tunumiisut.
